Tried (and failed) to connect the beecore via USB to our PCs to no avail. The camera works in both, but still no change in the drone.
Tried with and without FPV camera installed in both the battery terminal configuration (sharing inputs with the board) and the dedicated pads/joins for cameras. Switching the various controller settings using the "hold both sticks to the bottom left and turn on" procedures in the remote documentation. These did not work and had the same issues arming the throttle.
Trying our old controllers, which are the same model but with the toggle switches installed at the top of the controller. ONCE for a few seconds on various drones, the motors spun up, but then not again. Reset trim on all axis to center, throttle stick down fully. We have tried everything that we can easily find online and in the documentation of the controller to fix this issue including: This same problem is happening with all 10 we ordered and have built. Our problem is that once bound (they DO bind) to our Flysky controllers, the throttle does not engage like it did with our previous drones on the same core/control board (beecore 2.0, link below). We ordered a bunch of equipment based on a previous league's build and have (we think) purchased everything as closely as possible to the old builds that worked. There are no ads in this search engine enabler service. My students and I are trying to get a beecore based drone to work for an upcoming league tryout with our local schools. ℹ️About GitHub Wiki SEE, a search engine enabler for GitHub WikisĪs GitHub blocks most GitHub Wikis from search engines. Then, restart the quic-config app (also close the command window in the background), and manually initiate dfu by plugging the flight controller in with the boot button pressed, and try again. The quic-config app will generate a log file which will aid developers in solving the problem so please make a copy of this log and pass it along to a dev. The stm32 microprocessors will not be damaged or bricked through the flashing process but may appear unresponsive after a failed flash. If your flash was unsuccessful for any reason - do not stress. Progress bars will appear as the flashing process is performed and a feedback will be displayed in the upper right hand corner when completeĪfter flashing, proceed to the next stage of the wiki - CONFIGURING QUICKSILVER. Select the FLASH button to initiate the flashing process.
Receiver types with names like frsky or redpine are onboard spi connected receivers, and serial refers to any serial receiver connected to a uart. The naming convention for hex files is target_name.motor_type.receiver_type. If you don't know which file to flash, make sure to ask here, and get advice from someone experienced with the firmware. Next select the version ( Release) to flash - make sure the hex file version is compatible with the gui version you are using by checking the release notes here.įinally, select a Target file which matches your hardware.
NFE_QUICKSILVER will download the firmware from github, or select LOCAL if you have built your own hex file from the source code. Select the Source from which you want to retrieve a hex file to flash. If it is still not recognised, you may need to run the ImpulseRC Driver Fixer tool
If it is not recognized automatically, the SCAN button can be pressed to search for a connected dfu device. The NO DFU DETECTED warning message will disappear when the flight controller is recognized to be in DFU mode. To flash the QUICKSILVER firmware, the flight controller must be in DFU mode (bootloader mode) this can be done by holding the boot button while plugging in the flight controller, otherwise you can use the RESET TO BOOTLOADER button on the GUI. There will also be a small prompt window launched in the background, do not close this! Click on the FLASH button to go to the firmware flash page.Ĭonnect a compatible flight controller via usb cable. This will open a new browser tab with the configurator app.
Open the "quic-config" app (on Windows you may get a warning asking you whether you want to trust an unsigned app, click yes).
